Who ever is taking pictures of me in the morning needs to seriously stop it!!!

Homunculus.
We are just getting started with the brain and behaviour block and already we feel overwhelmed by the intricacies and complexities of the brain. I do apologize for the lack of juicy posts as a result.
To date, we have looked at some basic neuroanatomy, looking at the organization of nerves and neurones; this week, we set our sights further, looking at the three main long tracts of the nervous system: the lateral corticospinal, the posterior columns, and the anterolateral pathways.
Tracing such pathways and understanding them have been a complicated affair. This block is certainly living up to its reputation as the most challenging.
